Harold Worley, Horry County Councilman

Welcome to my web site. I hope you will find it helpful in learning about Horry County issues and initiatives, and about my work as the County Councilman for District One. The district includes North Myrtle Beach, Atlantic Beach, Brooksville, Little River, the Cherry Grove Beach area, Crescent Beach and Windy Hill.

I invite you to get involved... please contact me to voice your opinions- you're also welcome at the County Council meetings. I was elected to serve the needs of the citizens of District One, and I look forward to hearing from you. Council meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, at the County Government building on Third Street in Conway.

A History of Service to
the Community

Harold Worley is a successful businessman and community leader with service that includes:

• Four years on the North Myrtle Beach City Council, where he worked to make planning and rational growth policies a priority.
• Two terms in the South Carolina State House of Representatives, serving House District 104, where he earned the reputation as one of the hardest working Representatives in the House.
• Harold founded the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce in 1999, served as its first Chairman, and is active in local organizations and charities.
